The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill

The US State broadcaster PBS has aired a film called The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill. You should try to see this film!

The 83 minute film, made by Judy Irving over four years, follows the bohemian Mark Bittner, and his experiences with a group of green and red wild transplant parrots, in San Francisco.

Sounds Boring? It’s not. This is one of the best documentary films I have ever seen, on PBS or elsewhere, this is of the same quality as Death of a Princess or March of the Penguins.

I don’t know if It will be shown on PBS again, it is available on DVD.
